The humble Veg Tikki has always been a favorite, no matter how old we are. These friend muchies are associated with late teas and rainy days, filling our tummies whenever we needed a quick bite. Whether bought hot and steaming from a vendor or made by mom for a special snack, the Veg Tikki is as desi as a snack can get. Try this super easy recipe that’s loaded with your favorite veggies right away!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack Knorr Chef’s Rolls & Wraps Mix (Veg)
- 225 ml Water
- 3 potatoes boiled
- 1 lime juice
- Salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- coriander
- 2 cups rava (semolina)
- Oil for shallow frying
- Kissan Tomato Ketchup for serving
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pour 1½ cups (225ml) of water in a Pan. Bring to boil.
- Add entire contents of Knorr Chef’s Rolls & Wraps Mix pack into the boiling water & cook for 2-3 minutes on medium flame till the product thickens.
- Mash 3 boiled potatoes
- Add salt, pepper, lemon juice, coriander to the potatoes
- Make 8-10 round balls of equal size
- Stuff the product mixture in the centre of the potato ball, close the opening, coat with rava and shallow fry on tawa
- Serve hot with Kissan tomato ketchup.
