Bathua Paratha is very good for health. Serve Bathua Paratha with Aloo Tamatar ki Sabji. Bathua Paratha can be served as breakfast.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 gram Bathua leaves / Goosefoot leaves
- 2 cup Wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds
- 4 green chilli
- Oil for cooking
INSTRUCTIONS
- Take bathua leaves and wash it carefully to remove the mud . Now boil it in a pan for about 5 minutes as shown below in the picture. While boiling you don’t need to add water. Switch off the flame when you see the leaves is reduced in a quantity.
- Take flour, carom seeds, green chilli, salt, bathua leaves and juice of this leaves. Mix it well and add small amount of water to knead the dough.
- Take an orange size ball from the dough and roll it like a chapatti as shown below in the picture.
- Heat the tawa and put the paratha on it. Drizzle some oil and cook the paratha on medium flame until light golden spots appear from both the sides. Bathua paratha is ready, serve hot with your favourite pickle or chutneys or raita.
