Moong Dal Paratha Recipe | HungryForever

A delicious and simple paratha recipe. 
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Take the moong dal and wash well.
  2. Now soak the dal in a bowl for about 2 to 3 hours.
  3. In a large bowl, add all the ingredients.
  4. Start kneading the dough and add water as and when required
  5. When the dough is kneaded. Divide into 12 portions and roll each portion into a ball.
  6. Now roll out each ball into a circle.
  7. On a non stick tava, add some oil. Once the oil is slightly heated, place the paratha and cook until They turn brown on both sides.
  8. Serve hot.

Cauliflower Methi Paratha Recipe | HungryForever

A vegetable paratha is so convenient to eat when you’re in a hurry to get the day started. Try these mildly spiced cauliflower and methi parathas for a filling and nourishing morning meal. 
INGREDIENTS

For the stuffing
  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the green chillies and turmeric powder and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  2. Add the cauliflower and sauté on a medium flame for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add the fenugreek leaves and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from the flame and divide the stuffing into 6 equal portions. Keep aside.
How to proceed
  1. Place a chapati on a clean dry surface, spread a portion of the stuffing on one half of the chapati and fold it over to make a semi-circle.
  2. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook the paratha, using a little oil, till it turns golden brown in colour from both sides.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to make 5 more parathas.

Bathua Paratha Recipe | HungryForever

Bathua Paratha is very good for health. Serve Bathua Paratha with Aloo Tamatar ki Sabji. Bathua Paratha can be served as breakfast.
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Take bathua leaves and wash it carefully to remove the mud . Now boil it in a pan for about 5 minutes as shown below in the picture. While boiling you don’t need to add water. Switch off the flame when you see the leaves is reduced in a quantity.
  2. Take flour, carom seeds, green chilli, salt, bathua leaves and juice of this leaves. Mix it well and add small amount of water to knead the dough.
  3. Take an orange size ball from the dough and roll it like a chapatti as shown below in the picture.
  4. Heat the tawa and put the paratha on it. Drizzle some oil and cook the paratha on medium flame until light golden spots appear from both the sides. Bathua paratha is ready, serve hot with your favourite pickle or chutneys or raita.

Egg Paratha Recipe | HungryForever

Egg paratha is basically a flat bread recipe with egg mixture stuffing. Egg paratha here is made in such a way that can be served mainly for kids breakfast or lunch. 
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Knead wheat flour with just enough warm water. Add few drops of oil and knead again to make soft pliable dough. Cover and set aside for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle flour on the rolling area and roll the paratha as shown in the pictures above.
  3. Heat a tawa or griddle until hot. Place the paratha and cook till golden spots appear on both the sides.
  4. Prepare eggs. Chop veggies finely. Break egg to a bowl, add veggies, salt, pepper powder and turmeric. Beat everything well until frothy.
  5. Heat the same pan with little oil, pour the egg and allow to cook on a medium flame.
  6. When the egg is almost cooked and little gooey on top, then place the paratha and press it gently.
  7. Flip and cook on the other side as well and cook till the egg is done on the edges as well.
  8. Serve egg paratha with chutney or vegetable salad.
