Onion Rava Dosa Recipe | HungryForever

INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Make a smooth batter by mixing semolina and rice flour along with a little water.
  2. Now, add to this some asafoetida, cumin seeds and salt.
  3. Mix the ingredients well and then leave the batter covered for 8 hours in a warm place.
  4. Now mix the onion, green chillies, ginger, cashews and black pepper in a bowl and set aside.
  5. Heat oil on a pan and pour a ladle of batter on to the pan spreading it in a large circle.
  6. Now take some of the onion mixture and spread it on the top of the dosa.
  7. Cook the dosa till it turns golden brown and crispy and serve hot.

Corn Dosa Recipe | HungryForever

The best part is that the Corn Dosa can be made in no time at all, as it requires no soaking or fermentation and grinding time is also very less. It will be loved by all, especially kids! 
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Blend the sweet corn kernels in a mixer till smooth.
  2. Transfer the sweet corn mixture into a bowl, add all the remaining ingredients along with approx. ¼ cup of water and mix well to make a batter of dropping consistency.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease it using a little oil.
  4. Pour a ladleful of the batter on the tava (griddle) and move the spoon in a circular motion to make a 150 mm. (6”) round dosa.
  5. Smear a little oil around the edges and cook on a medium flame till the dosa turns light brown in colour from both the sides.
  6. Fold over to make a semi-circle or a roll.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter to make 3 more dosas.
  8. Serve immediately with coconut chutney or green chutney.

Palak Dosa Recipe | HungryForever

Palak dosa (spinach dosa) is an easy and healthy dosa recipe with spinach. Spinach dosa is an excellent way to include spinach in kids diet.
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. First make the puree of the palak. You can make this puree well in advance. It can stay for 2 days.
  2. In a bowl mix together rice flour, besan, ginger, palak puree, hing, salt and chopped green chillies. Now add water little by little and make a fine batter for the dosa. Make sure there are no lumps.
  3. Heat a non stick tawa. Keep the flame low. Now pour about 4 tblsp of batter and spread it in circular motion on the tawa with the help of a ladle to make a circular chilla. The thickness should be that of a roti/crepe.
  4. When the top side starts to get dry pour few drops of oil from all sides. Check the lower side if it has turn slightly brown flip the side and now cook the other side. Keep pressing the chilla occassionally with a flat spatula.
  5. When brown, serve these palak chillas hot with green chutney/ tomato sauce.

Oats Dosa Recipe | HungryForever

Oats dosa recipe or instant oats dosa recipe - a very quick and easy no grind oats dosa, best among delicious and healthy indian oats recipes. 
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. grind quick cooking oats in a mixer­ grinder until smooth powder texture.
  2. add powdered oats, rava, rice flour in a large bowl.
  3. also add cumin seeds and salt. mix all the ingredients.
  4. add sour curd/yoghurt and one cup of water. mix it well and make sure there are no lumps formed.
  5. slowly, add more cup of water and give a proper mix.
  6. add onion, ginger, chillies, pepper and coriander. mix it properly.
  7. add more water to adjust the consistency of the batter. it should be
  8. watery else the dosa will not be crisp.
  9. keep aside for 20 to 30 minutes.
  10. heat the tava or non-stick pan and spread 1 or 2 tsp oil.
  11. if using non-stick pan then no need to spread oil.
  12. with a ladle pour the batter from the edges towards the center.
  13. sprinkle ½ or 1 tsp of oil from the top.
  14. let the base becomes golden or crisp. no need to cook the other side as the dosa is thin.
  15. remove the dosa from the pan. prepare all the dosas this way.
  16. serve the oats dosa hot with coconut chutney.
  17. oats dosa has to be served immediately, otherwise they become dry once they become cold.
