The Karuveppilai Kuzhambu Recipe is a classic and a traditional south indian curry recipe, that is made from fresh curry leaves also known as Karuveppilai. The curry leaves are ground with roasted spiced and added to a spicy and tangy tamarind water. 
INGREDIENTS

  1. Cut onion, tomato and garlic.
  2. Add 1/2 Cup of water to tamarind paste.
  3. Heat the oil.
  4. Add cumin seeds, black pepper, red chilies, raw rice and toor dal.
  5. Mix curry leaves and sauté for 2 minutes.
  6. Keep it for cooling.
  7. Grind the above mixture to make a paste.
  8. Heat the oil.
  9. Add mustard seeds.
  10. Now mix onions, garlic and tomato.
  11. Stir it well.

Kali Mirch Chicken Recipe | HungryForever

Kali Mirch Pepper is a dish that has all the aroma and taste of freshly ground black peppercorns, but it's mildly hot. You can never go wrong with this Chicken Curry, it’s very easy to cook. 
INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Take the chicken in a bowl, apply ginger-garlic paste, curd, cumin powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder, and salt. Keep it aside for 1 hours.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan or kadhai, saute with ginger and green chilies.
  3. Then add onion and fry it until golden brown in the color.
  4. Prepare the cashew nut paste by boiling onions, cashews, almonds and water together for 10 minutes. Then, puree it in a blender to make paste.
  5. Now add this cashew nuts paste in fried onion and let it cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
  6. Add garam masala powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, kasoori methi, chopped mint and coriander leaves. cook on slow heat for 5 minutes.
  7. Now grill the marinade chicken in oven or tandoor.
  8. Add grilled chicken in gravy and add 1 cup boil water. Let it cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  9. Now chicken kalimirch is ready to serve, Serve hot with Naan or chapatti.

Palak Dosa Recipe | HungryForever

Palak dosa (spinach dosa) is an easy and healthy dosa recipe with spinach. Spinach dosa is an excellent way to include spinach in kids diet.
INGREDIENTS

  1. First make the puree of the palak. You can make this puree well in advance. It can stay for 2 days.
  2. In a bowl mix together rice flour, besan, ginger, palak puree, hing, salt and chopped green chillies. Now add water little by little and make a fine batter for the dosa. Make sure there are no lumps.
  3. Heat a non stick tawa. Keep the flame low. Now pour about 4 tblsp of batter and spread it in circular motion on the tawa with the help of a ladle to make a circular chilla. The thickness should be that of a roti/crepe.
  4. When the top side starts to get dry pour few drops of oil from all sides. Check the lower side if it has turn slightly brown flip the side and now cook the other side. Keep pressing the chilla occassionally with a flat spatula.
  5. When brown, serve these palak chillas hot with green chutney/ tomato sauce.

  1. Clean the mutton brains and transfer to a bowl.
  2. Add salt and turmeric powder.
  3. Keep aside for a minute and cook until done.
  4. Then chop them into pieces.
  5. Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
  6. Fry the saunf and curry leaves for 10 seconds.
  7. Add onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute or two.
  8. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, pepper powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
  9. Add salt and enough water.
  10. Simmer for a few minutes.
  11. When the water has almost evaporated, add the cooked brains and stir gently.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve.

Channa Pulao Recipe | HungryForever

INGREDIENTS

  1. Heat 3 tbsps ghee in a non-stick pan and add cumin seeds. When their colour changes, add garlic and sauté till it turns golden.
  2. Add green chillies and ginger and sauté on medium heat for 1 minute. Add onions and sauté till translucent. Add tomatoes and cook till soft and mushy.
  3. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder and cook on medium heat for 1 minute.
  4. Add chickpeas, salt and 2 cups cooking liquor and mix well. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add rice, remaining ghee and lemon juice and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat.
  6. Transfer into a serving platter and serve hot.
